John is the founding member and managing partner of Equitus Law Alliance.  He advises clients in a broad spectrum of tax-related issues, including tax controversies at the local, state, and federal levels, wills and estate planning, and tax-exempt organizations.

John serves on the Board of Directors for several tax-exempt organizations in the Middle Tennessee area.

He graduated from Belmont University and received his J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law in Winston-Salem, N.C.  John also has an L.L.M. in taxation from Emory University Law School in Atlanta, Georgia.
